Installing Cadence SPB / Orcad 16.36 w* H9 \2 {! T
1. Install the license server
) C. r! C* F( _; `. t2. Overwrite the file in the installation folder cdslmd.exe license manager on the tablet attached to: b; i c. b- t6 f! V* {
3. Create an environment variable with the value CDS_LIC_FILE this_host @ 5280. this_host replaced by the name of your machine (My computer-> properties-> advanced-> enviromnent variables). z1 y5 y: A1 Q9 N% K. {* F
4. Edit the first line in the file license163.lic - replace this_host the real name of your computer. l% M5 L) p, O! k9 L" W' ?1 x1 l. T
5. LicenseServerConfiguration.exe run from your license manager (LicenseManager)6 V% Y4 G( f, | {
6. In the Select license, select the edited file license163.lic* a, P4 F/ I7 F7 g# W) P
7. Click Next' M. p0 K% R/ @1 \/ Y& B/ S( y
8. In the editing window, check the Port number 5280
, u8 G9 K$ K" a4 A% b' @9 I9. In the editing window Host Name check your machine's hostname (computer name)

12. Click Finish
