对于译者来说,翻译是一件枯燥的事,但对于读者来说,一本好的译作,不光能带来知识,还能带来视野的拓展。如果本书能让读者产生酣畅淋漓,意犹未尽的感觉那就好了。) X/ h# }& g1 q/ q6 P- `

The minor loop gain assessment is very popular for assessing the stability; I) w3 P/ u: Z
of an input filter combined with the negative resistance of a switching converter. This is also the method generally used to verify system level stability involving independent circuits. A practical example of such a black box stability assessment is the interaction between a DC/DC converter and an electronic load. Each can be considered

Output impedance measurements of a DC/DC converter connected to a B&K model 8540 electronic load, and the same converter connected to a Picotest J2112A current injector (the load current), are shown in Fig. 8.23. This measurement is an S-parameter measurement and must be transformed to Ohms. This transformation is detailed in Chap. 7, though the result is included here for convenience. For a 50-Ω VNA, the transformation is defined by Eq. (8.11):

amplifier. The operational amplifier shown in Fig. 8.8 illustrates the issue. Using the open-loop gain of 95 dB from the measurement in Fig. 8.4, and allowing a 1-mV offset in the operational amplifier, results in a 56-V output. Since the operational amplifier is not likely connected to a supply voltage that can allow a 56-V output, the amplifier
