You can accomplish a smaller, smoother arced effect by mitering a routed corner.

Set the Miter type to Arc in the Design tab of the Preferences dialog box.

To automatically miter corners of drafting shapes as you create them, select Auto Miter in the Design tab of the Preferences dialog box. The Miters field determines the size and shape of the miter. You can also select or clear auto-miters from the shortcut menu while a drafting command is active.
