7 S. p& k' a7 k5 @This release combines previously unreleased separate products from Cadence - Allegro SPB and OrCAD. When you install you must install one of the Cadence SPB 16.3 ticks or Cadence OrCAD 16.3. Package OrCAD is a subset of SPB. So if you want to set the maximum option - select the SPB and do not choose OrCAD. Choice of two options will not add additional programs or Fitch.

2. Run Setup.exe and click the "License Manager" button,install the license server (first Option). When the installation asks for the License file, just click Cancel on that dialogue. The installation will ask you if you are sure you want to exit the Cadence Licence Server Configuration utility, click Yes. Afterwards, click Finish on the Cadence License Manager installation./ i- ]' V) G% p* i/ Z

3. Copy cdslmd.exe from the aspirin folder into "C:\Cadence\LicenseManager\", or wherever you may have installed it and overwrite it .(for example, i installed it in "C:\Cadence\LicenseManager\", so i copied it in that location).

4. Create an environment variable CDS_LIC_FILE with the value this_host @ 5280, this_host replaced with the name of your machine (My computer-> properties-> advanced-> enviromnent variables->system variables)

6. Edit the first line in the file license163.lic--- replace this_host to the real name of your computer. / s- g0 t2 M, s: t ]% ?

8. In the Select license, select the edited file license163.lic. # g0 r3 P7 Y+ G/ o) i+ f

10. In the Port number edit, check the value 5280. : M7 e& t% F8 l: ^% Y
11. In the editing window Host Name, check your machine's hostname (computer name). To find host Name? Use LMTOOLS find this.( |) h; Z0 i5 D2 Q, c6 O
12. Click Next ; |8 y" L3 s* X' _( U% q& m
13. Click Next again - u1 N' G3 Y; _
14. Click Finish ' P/ q8 k) K& S
15. Reboot 4 E, u& `) u) H5 @
16. install Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3,and select defaults (Near finish will report Lic & Host Name, Then Build Indexes for a damn long time). # [8 H9 Q2 m- g8 a5 J# @& r
17. Copy the files(RunMe!. Bat,patter,skf) from the folder: \ Aspirin \ patch into the installation directory,for example, C:\Cadence.

20. Wait a little.
